Ep. 2 | ChocoGPT and Chill

Chip and Scoops explore a surprising AI breakthrough, turning a messy task into team-wide clarity. As the Dessert District leans into automation, a cryptic ChocoGPT message leaves Chip wondering: when the whole world’s going digital, where do you even start?

Episode 2

🍨 Scoops was prompting furiously, squinting at his Snackbook Pro through a cloud of freezer mist.

“What does a $37 milkshake need to include to justify the price?”

He sat on a tub of frozen cookie dough, the industrial freezer humming. 🧊

“Brainstorm name ideas for a dessert that’s both cold and spicy.”

“Not another ghost pepper”

he muttered, breath fogging the screen.

He tilted, suddenly alert. A whiff of vanilla extract?

There was Chip 🍪, wafting into the walk-in.

Scoops flicked open a new tab. He spun the Snackbook around.

“You see what Dottie’s been up to?”

Chip leaned in. It was a document, a process of some sort: intuitive design, with illustrations at each step.

📹 “She recorded herself explaining how to clean the whipped cream machine.”

“Like…”

“Like, literally mid-clean.”

Scoops gestured at the video Dottie posted on Peels.

…and ChocoGPT turned it into a step-by-step guide.

Chip tilted his head. “That came from a video?”

“Boom.”

“I guess it’s not always about replacing people”

“Now everyone on her team does it the same way.”

Chip smiled. 🙂

Dottie wasn’t the only one.

Chip had seen AI hype glazing over all of the Dessert District.

That éclair over at Batter & Bean auto-generates Mixagram captions based on the day’s special.

The Sprinkle Sisters built a customer quiz (“What Kind of Cupcake are You?”) that feeds into personalized SMS campaigns.

Sales tripled! 📈

At the same time, Chip knew there were others who were feeling some form of AI paralysis. 🌀 In the face of transformative technology, it was hard to know where to start.

Chip’s teeth were chattering. 🥶

“So,” Scoops finally said,

“you seemed spooked the other day.”

His buddy Chip had been mixed up ever since a strange message on ChocoGPT.

Scoops pushed again.

“You gonna tell me what you’re running from?”

“It just… showed up. Two words.”

He showed Scoops his Choco app.

 Help them.

Scoops raised an eyebrow.

“I don’t know what it means. But I’m not the hero here.”

“You try Berry?”

Chip didn’t answer right away.

He explained reaching out to Professor Berry, to get her take on Choco’s assignment. She hadn’t answered right away, but today, he’d woken up to a reply:

“Every cookie has a soft spot. Start there. 🍓

“Is it a metaphor?”

Scoops paused mid-prompt.

“Like a fortune cookie?”

Chip punched him on the spoon.

“Maybe a haunted one,” Scoops laughed.

“You crack it open and instead of lottery numbers it just says run.

Chip wasn’t sure.

“I’m not the guy for that.”

“Come on!”

“I mean…

I’m barely keeping my own stuff straight.”

“Someone else is probably better for it.”

He hid his feelings.

“Anyway, what are you working on now?”

Scoops perked up like someone had finally noticed his masterpiece. 🎨

He was clicking Choco’s Image Generator.

“I call this one: Ice Cream Burrito.”

🌯🍦

Chip stood up.

Just… finished.

“Tell Dottie her Peel needs a better caption,” he offered on the way out.

Whip It Good,” came Scoops’ reply,

through a mouthful of frozen cookie dough.

Here’s what’s coming next :

Thursdays: We’ll cover foundational LLM and AI concepts. (Don’t worry. I put the cookies on the lower shelf, where anyone can reach ‘em.) I teach advanced concepts in simple, bite-sized chunks that anyone can understand.

Tuesdays: The next episode with Chip & Scoops, a couple of AI-curious friends just like you.
